San Jose, CA – October 1, 2003 – Miraizon™, a San Jose based multimedia software company, announced today the immediate availability of Cinematize™ 1.01 for Mac OS X. Cinematize is the first and only commercial DVD extraction tool that handles complex DVD discs with multiple angles and sound tracks. The new version includes some new features and fixes, and is now available in Japanese and French, as well as English.

With Cinematize, users can extract a clip or segment of content from any DVD and save it in a format compatible with standard movie and audio editing applications. Since the release of the English version 1.0 in August, Cinematize has been used by video professionals and enthusiasts from more than 15 countries. With the release of Cinematize 1.01, the company hopes to reach more international customers. “Cinematize has been receiving very positive responses from our customers,” says David Salamon, creator of Cinematize and CEO of Miraizon. “Cinematize offers DVD extraction features many of our customers have been waiting for and they are very excited to use it. With the new enhanced version incorporating some of our users’ feedback, we hope to serve our customers even better.”

Cinematize 1.01 new features include a longer preview length which is now adjustable, as well as a new option for saving QuickTime files which significantly speeds up the extraction process. Pricing and Availability

Cinematize 1.01 for Mac OS X is available immediately as a tri-lingual application (English, French, Japanese). The software is priced at US$49.95 and downloadable from the Miraizon Web site at <http://www.miraizon.com>. Current Cinematize 1.0 users can also download an upgrade for free from the company Web site. Miraizon plans to make an English boxed version of Cinematize 1.01 available this autumn with French and Japanese boxed versions to follow.
